A New Era Begins in the Historic Mill District

Designed by Miller Dunwiddie, the Bridgewater Lofts building at 215 10th Avenue S, Minneapolis, MN was developed by Jim Stanton of Shamrock. The prolific developer was also responsible for neighboring buildings Stonebridge and Legacy, as well as 212 Lofts, 5th Ave Lofts, Lindsay Lofts, and Rock Island Lofts in the next-door North Loop neighborhood.  The Bridgewater with its combination of brick and glass faces along 10th Ave and has a U-shaped structure. The open end of the building along 11th Ave encircles a small historic building once known as the Dorsey Sporting House. It was the last standing former bordello in Minneapolis and is now home to a handful of residences. As for Bridgewater Lofts, you can expect a much more modern and luxurious experience with one, two, and three-bedroom floorplans, along with upscale amenities like a rooftop swimming pool.

Entering one of the condos at Bridgewater, a sense of style and modern grace quickly emerges with open space layouts, huge walls of windows, and wide-plank hardwood floors. Gourmet kitchens face out into the living and dining areas, perfect for mealtime socializing as savory scents waft through the air.  Stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and large dining bar/prep islands with pendant lighting overhead are all part of the culinary experience.  There’s plenty of variation from one unit to the next, from one to three bedrooms and some with bonus spaces such as dens. The giant windows let in ample amounts of natural light and also provide striking cityscape vistas, and private balconies are great for enjoying morning coffee or evening libations. 10th floor penthouses are among the most impressive in the building, especially those with corner exposures. In-unit washers and dryers, spa-style baths, and walk-in closets are a few of the other features common to all units.

Residents at Bridgewater Lofts enjoy plenty of amenities in addition to those found in their own individual units. Community spaces are found on multiple levels and were recently renovated by Studio Gray. The front lobby welcomes residents and visitors inside with sitting and lounge areas, as well as art exhibits and displays. A conference room is off the main lobby for business meetings, and the building has street level retail as well. A two-story upper level community room area is especially impressive with towering ceilings, multiple seating and lounge areas, intriguing movable screens, a fireplace, massive windows, and a loft overlook with seating and billiards. A rooftop deck with pool and hot tub is an ultimate place to relax and enjoy the sun. There is also a large and fully equipped kitchen, a clubroom with library, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a mailroom. Secure assigned parking adds to the convenience and comfort.
