Elegant Townhome Living at Renaissance on the River
Sitting across from James L. Rice Park and the Mississippi River, the Renaissance on the River townhome community is further bordered by 4th Street N, Great River Road, and the Cedar Lake Regional Trail. While the official address of record for the development is 325 W River Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55401, each residence has its own individual address, usually assigned to 4th Street. With its walkways, inner roads, and gracious shade trees, the townhome community has the feel of its own intimate neighborhood. The homes have a contemporary Colonial style of architecture that is distinctly different from nearby warehouse-style condominiums like Riverwalk Lofts, Lindsay Lofts, and Rock Island Lofts.
The residences at Renaissance on the River have classic townhouse layouts. Each unit has its own rowhouse-style exterior with its own entries. Living spaces, dining areas, and kitchens are found at the main entry level with bedrooms upstairs. Finished basement levels include rec areas and connect directly to the attached two-car garages. Many of these homes have been remodeled or customized in some way, such as converting a lower level rec room to additional sleeping quarters or adding an extra bath. For the most part, these are three-bedroom residences with three-to-four baths. Bonus rooms such as dens or offices are quite common, and each townhome has private outdoor spaces such as yards and terraces, on the front and rear sides.
Interior finishes are top-notch, with wood floors, large windows that allow abundant natural light inside, open layouts at the main level, fireplaces, and large gourmet kitchens with stone counters, upscale stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and attractive prep/dining islands with hanging pendant lighting overhead. Stylish spa baths, walk-in closets, in-unit laundries, and tons of storage add to the appeal and convenience. Some of the homes offer lovely views of the river from the upper levels. Landscaped yards, cute walkways, and a superb location give this well-regarded community an aura that is more akin to suburban than urban. Renaissance on the River is one of only two townhome developments in the North Loop neighborhood, the other being the nearby Landings community.

A Residential Oasis in Urban North Loop
Renaissance on the River is one of only two townhome communities in the North Loop neighborhood. A prime location along the Mississippi River and within its accompanying greenbelt allows for the feeling of a residential oasis. Yet, North Loop itself is a historic former industrial hub, best known for its warehouse loft conversions. This juxtaposition of elegant riverside townhomes and a lively urban environment is at the heart of the appeal. Residents can traipse along the banks of the river or just as easily pop into local businesses. Whole Foods is about a half-dozen blocks away from the townhomes, and there are several great coffee shops that are even closer than that. Commuting is also a snap due to the fact that these homes have their own attached garages, allowing easy access to I-94, I-394, the Plymouth Ave Bridge, Hennepin Ave Bridge, and more. For those who prefer not to drive, Target Field Station Light Rail is less than a mile away.
